We visited California and the Southwest this summer. We met amazing people. We learned a lot. And we came back more proud than ever of our home town, Chicago. Especially, the Hideout where we were born.
The photo above was taken by Kirstie Shanley at the Hideout Block Party, which benefited Tuesdays Child, Thomas Drummond Elementary School, Oscar Mayer School, and Literacy Works.
Dear Hideout: You’re not just a bar, you’re a way of life. Thank you.
We’ve had some great shows already in Arizona, with more to come as we head to Texas tomorrow. Check out the Marching page for upcoming lone star shows. Marfa, Lubbock, Houston, and Austin - great clubs and the incredible Maker Faire!
Here’s an audience cellphone video from the Rialto Theater in Tucson, and some photos from the Hideout Block Party.

If you live in Chicago, you can get our new self-released cd “Plays Well Together” at Reckless Records , Permanent Records, or Laurie’s Planet of Sound. It’s also available online at CD Baby.
